We're stoked to end the year by sharing this clip and an epic shot showcasing one of Cantabria's local legends, and our local surf spot - which really has views like no other!

Local photographer Antonio Bretones sent us over these stunning shots and a short video of Juanjo pre-surf on the dunes at our local spot of Sanvi with his Bow fin in full view in his Barahona Shapes board - we know many of you have stopped off there on your surf travels across northern Spain and it quickly becomes a favourite with everyone that does.

For those that have had the pleasure of meeting Juanjo in the water in Sanvi or Somo, or have encountered him through his work for the Surf & Nature Alliance, will know why we're stoked to chat about him - he's just the nicest, most straightforward guy you're likely to meet.  And of course he's also a big Macho Fins fan - aside from our riders, we think he's a contender for having the largest Macho Fins Quiver!  (Maybe Jesus Busto beats him, we're not sure...you'll have to fight it out guys...)

So here we share this magic with you, Juanjo pre-surf strutting his stuff (haha, sorry mate, but you totally are - and we love it!), with Sanvi's famous backdrop of its church on the hill and the Picos de Europa mountains behind - with the centrepiece of the Naranjo de Bulnes right in shot (that dome shaped mountain - climber's paradise don't you know).

Juanjo is showing off his 9" Bow fin - you can check out his, Jesus's and others' reviews for this fin on the product page - and see what board/fin combos others are riding with.

And remember, if you happen to be in Sanvi, the Macho Fins Workshop is only 45 minutes south on the motorway, so you should definitely make a little detour on your next surftrip and come pay us a visit!  (Please remember visits are by appointment only - contact us!)  You can also find our fins right there on the beach at Sanvi at Buena Onda Surf School.
