We're stoked to start 2022 with some fantastic news from 2021 - Macho Fins is now proudly a member of the Museum of British Surfing's Hang 5 Club

In successful collaboration with the MoBS and Macho Fins family member Mike Lay and our collab Drifan model, throughout 2021 a percentage of both retail and wholesale sales of the Drifan were donated to the MoBS - an official UK registered charity.  Funds go towards the running, upkeep and development of the museum, which plays an integral part in preserving and presenting the heritage of British surfing - something both Mike and ourselves here at Macho Fins are keen to support through the collaboration.

Museum of British Surfing

If you don't already follow the active MoBS Facebook account, we highly recommend it - their daily posts on the history of surf and surf culture in the UK are always interesting and informative.  Of course, if you're ever in North Devon, we also highly recommend a visit in person to the museum and their excellent shop, also accessible online, with a range of surf memorabilia, books and local surf-related crafts.  All in all, a fantastic surf charity and museum which we are very proud to support here at Macho Fins.

And the collab continues!  We're happy to say that the MoBS-Mike Lay-Macho Fins collab will continue throughout 2022, with a percentage of all Drifan sales once again being donated to the Museum at the end of the year.  We look forward to seeing if we can make their prestigious Hang 10 Club this year!

Feel the urge to grab a Drifan and support a good cause in the process?  We've got a whole load currently in stock, and of course if you feel inspired to donate to the MBS directly, you can do so through their website here.
