One thing we've really missed in 2020 is our travels around Europe to festivals, pop ups and surf markets - but we're thrilled to say we're going to be finishing the year by taking part in our first Virtual Market at the hands of Artesanos Rurales.

This new organisation is aiming to promote the work of small rural businesses and craftspeople throughout Spain by offering them a platform to share their wares.  This first edition of their Virtual Market will include interviews with each participant, a demonstration of their work and products, and a look into how their rural location influences what they do.

Here at Macho Fins, our workshop is located up in the Cantabrian Mountains, south of Santander, and we're very proud of our rural location and local community.  We're stoked to be taking part in a project like this to promote small rural businesses like ours.

So find a minute on Sunday 27th December to "pop along" to the 1º Mercado Virtual by following @artesanosrurales on Instagram and checking out their live story feed.

Artesanos Rurales Mercado Virtual

You'll be able to catch Macho Fins going live (in Spanish) at 1330 CET on Sunday 27th December on both their feed and ours - "meet" us and our fins, catch a glimpse of our workshop, and as a bonus we'll also be giving a special discount code for free shipping on all orders within mainland Spain valid until 3rd January - giving us time to get any last minute gifts to you in time for Reyes (that's Spanish Christmas for those who don't know!).

And remember, not sure what to gift?  Check out our Christmas Gift Guide to get some ideas before you attend the market and see it all presented by us during the live feed - a chance to virtually see before you buy!

Hope to see you there!
